Alumni Community FAQ

If your question is not addressed below, please contact alumni.support@jefferson.edu. We do our best to respond within 48 business hours.

What are the steps I take to register in my online alumni community?

Find and select your school in the navigation located in the gray bar near the top of this page. Click “register now” below the search bar on the right of the page. Enter your first and last name and click “find,” select your record, and enter your constituent ID to verify your identity.

How do I find my Constituent ID?

Send an email requesting it to alumni.support@jefferson.edu with your first and last name, school, and class year. Starting in spring 2013, you can also obtain your Constituent ID by looking at your copy of the Review. Your ID is printed above your name on the mailing label. Any emails you receive from the Jefferson Foundation will also contain your Constituent ID in the footer.

I think I’ve already registered. How do I login again?

Find and select your school in the navigation located at the grey bar near the top of this page. Click “login” below the search bar on the right of the page. Enter your email as your username and your password. If you have trouble, contact alumni.support@jefferson.edu.

What happens if I lose or forget my password for the alumni community?

Contact alumni.support@jefferson.edu and we will reset it for you.

How can I update my contact information?

Once logged in, click into “Edit Profile Information” on the right of the page. Click into the “home contact information” tab and add your updated information. Once entered, click “Save” on the bottom of the page. This information is sent to our office and is not public to your classmates.

Will I lose answers I typed in for my profile if I am logged off by my internet browser?

Yes. Click “Save” every 5-10 minutes to prevent losing information if your browser times out.

How can I submit a class note or read other class notes?

To submit a class note, click into “My Public Profile” in the right navigation. Click into the “Class notes” tab and enter a class note.

To read class notes, click into “Class notes” under “News & Notes” in the left navigation.

How can I find my fellow alumni and connect with them?

Use our directory. Login to your community and click “directory search” in the left navigation. Enter some or all of your classmate’s information. For example you can enter a first or last name in full and search, or you can enter “L” to view all alumni who name begins with that letter.

Why can I not connect with or find a classmate’s information?

First, make sure you are spelling their name correctly. If you find your peer in our directory but you don’t have the option to email them, it’s because your classmate has not registered for the alumni community yet. Contact alumni.support@jefferson.edu and we’ll help put you in touch.

Do other alumni see everything I share in my profile, like personal contact information? Can I decide what is public and what is private?

Contact information is not visible. Fellow alumni can see the information in the tabs in your “Public Profile” (found by clicking “My Public Profile” in the right navigation). This is mainly your school and class year, and your submitted class notes and photos. Please note there is one exception: the “My Activity” tab is not visible to others. To edit what is visible, click from “view mode” into “edit mode.” You can then edit or delete information once in this mode. For more detailed instructions, click the “help” icon located to the right of the view mode/edit mode option.

What if I only want to receive certain emails from Jefferson?

You can control your email subscriptions. Login, click into “Edit Profile Information” in the right navigation, and then click into the “Subscription Management” tab. From there, you can select which categories for which you’d like to receive emails.

How do I get my alumni card? What do I do if I lose my alumni card?

Login, then in the left navigation click into “Alumni Resources” and then select “Alumni Card.” From there you can print a new alumni card (your information will be automatically filled in). We do not issue hard-copy cards anymore, so if you lose your card, please print out a new one here.

Can I still use the library at Jefferson?

Yes. Be sure to bring your alumni card to the library. Read more about alumni library access.
